Practice-led Humanities has announced a new scholarship programme that will enable outstanding graduates from refugee camps to pursue practice-based master's degrees in the humanities and social sciences.

The initiative is aimed at high-achieving graduates in disciplines including social sciences, linguistics, and archaeology. Through the programme, successful applicants will receive scholarships that support both academic study and projects with measurable social impact.

The master's pathway integrates academic learning with field research and professional experience. As part of the programme, each scholar will be placed within a partner organisation—such as a social work agency, non-governmental organisation, or research institute—where they will contribute to ongoing projects while gaining practical experience as members of multidisciplinary teams.

The programme seeks to bridge higher education with community engagement, equipping refugee scholars with the knowledge, research skills, and professional experience needed to address social challenges in their communities.
